Fans eagerly awaiting Becky Lynch’s return to WWE may be disappointed, as new reports suggest the Irish wrestling star is not expected to feature at WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas.
Lynch has been off WWE TV since May 2024, when she lost a Steel Cage Match to Liv Morgan. Her absence was particularly felt when she failed to appear at the Royal Rumble, sparking speculation about her status on the Road to WrestleMania.
According to Sean Ross Sapp, despite signing a new WWE contract in January, there are no indications that Lynch will be involved in WrestleMania 41.
“At this point, I have not heard anything. I don’t expect her to be on the WrestleMania card,” Sapp revealed after WWE Raw.
While some fans speculated that Lynch might challenge Lyra Valkyria for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship, those plans have not materialized. Sapp added:
“I know that things were pitched for her at Mania, but I’m not sure what happened with that.”
Despite her extended break, Lynch has reassured fans that she will return to WWE—though she has not committed to an exact date. Speaking to Vulture, she stated:
“If you think that the way I’m going to go out after the career that I’ve had is with Dominik Mysterio slamming a door in my face, that’s probably not going to happen.”
In November 2024, Lynch hinted at a comeback but admitted:
“But when will that come back? I don’t know.”
With seven WWE World Championships to her name since her 2015 debut, Lynch’s eventual return will undoubtedly provide a major boost to the WWE women’s division. Until then, fans will have to wait for further updates on The Man’s next move.
